CALLING ALL ACTORS AND POETS/SPOKEN WORD ARTISTS!!!
May 10th and 11th I will be holding auditions for my new play "Lost and Found". The casting call will be held at the Northwest Activity Center located at 18100 Meyers Road, Detroit, MI 48235 from 6:30-8:30 pm (auditions will be downstairs in room #8).
Lost and Found follows Sharice who is dealing with the residual effects of being molested by her stepfather. Though she is successful there is something missing in her life. She often turns to her best friend/love interest who tries to help her but is in over his head. This is a story of love, forgiveness and self awareness that features poetry throughout the show. Many roles do require actors to perform poetry so you must be comfortable doing so.
There is small compensation for speaking roles. Anyone involved in production will receive 10% of ticket sales (that they personally sell) as well as ads (for programs) and sponsors brought in. In addition to the play we will be recording the show without an audience that will pitched to various networks, Red Box and stores.

He’s a good guy with a desire to help others. His need to help people, particularly troubled women, tends to get him in the middle of trouble especially when it comes to Sharice. He wants her to be at peace seemingly more than she wants that for herself. Very well spoken and thoughtful. Loves God but can become weak when it comes to women. Many would say he likes to fix broken women. Charming with a strong presence. He is a self-proclaimed go getter who wants to win at all costs. Your classic tall, dark and handsome man that leaves many women swooning. There’s an edge to him that is both intriguing and a bit intimidating. Stepfather of Sharice and biological father of Lena. Selfish, focused, unfazed and dark. A bit manipulative and seems to only be concerned with getting his. He has rugged good looks with a nasty attitude. He just wants to be left alone while he does what he wants to do unquestioned.
