Casting Call for Feature Film

Aaron, the main character, is a good-hearted, loyal person. Since he met Violet, he has tried so hard to be a Blue, and, at the beginning of the movie, he is 46% Blue. His main flaw, though, is that he is easily influenced. He sometimes takes things too heart too easily. Yet, he is a caring older brother, since his mom, a doctor, is at work often, so he has to take care of his little brother Oliver all the time.
As the movie progresses, though, he begins to lose his goodness and begins distancing himself from Violet, as well as drinking and using drugs. He almost dies of a drug overdose after his little brother, Oliver, is killed, but Violet saves his life.

Johnathan is an angry Red who doesn't like how society looks up to the Blues on down on the Reds. He has been friends with Aaron longer than Violet, and has his moments as a good friend, particularly in the end when he escapes jail only to ask for Aaron's forgiveness.
Johnathan, to prove that Reds can have successful jobs as well, convinces Aaron and Violet to start a 3D printing business. Yet, his drunkenness and clumsiness at the job causes frustration. Aaron finally decides he's done when Johnathan tries to get his friend Dylan, a drug dealer, involved in the business. Once again, Johnathan's drunkenness causes his downfall, when he accidentally runs over and kills Oliver, Aaron's little brother.

Lydia is Aaron's girlfriend in the movie. They meet in the beginning of the movie, and get together at a party that Lydia invited Aaron to. She is one reason he begins to become more Red, since he begins to go to an endless amount of parties with her and Johnathan, and they drink and get high. She is Aaron's temptation, and is jealous of him and Violet's relationship, which is also why he begins to drift away from Violet. In the end, Aaron catches her cheating on him with Dylan.
There is no audition for Lydia. All females will be auditioning for Violet.

Oliver is Aaron's younger brother. He is a Blue and a very intelligent child. His mother is very proud of him because of this. Oliver looks up to his brother more than most, since him and Aaron are usually the only ones in the house. After almost being beaten by Aaron, he rushes out of the house with his friend Harry. While he's walking down the street, Johnathan, who is drunk driving, runs over him and sends him in a coma. He doesn't survive.

This is Aaron and Oliver's mother. She is a doctor and hardly has time to spend with her children. She has a preference for Oliver over Aaron since Oliver is a Blue and seems to have a brighter future. She is devastated when Oliver dies, and is not allowed to treat him. Yet, Violet has to remind her that she still has Aaron and has to look at his accomplishments and his potential as well.

Violet is Aaron's best friend and the lead female role in the movie. She is a Blue and is the epitome of what Blues should represent. She is incredibly loyal and supportive of Aaron. As for Johnathan, she doesn't get along with him too well. She is a strong character and knows exactly who she is and who Aaron should be. Violet, even after being ignored and treated badly by Aaron, saves his life in the end.
