Storyline
Solminare Pulpitum is a student script by Adam Fleisher, which we will be turning into a 3-5 minute student animatic. The story is about a young female, Evie Alexander, who is now trapped in her dream for reasons unknown. She will go through meeting the characters that act in her dreams to bring them to life to find out why she is there and how she will get back home. Some of the interesting characters that she will meet along the way are: Carl (a frog monster), Milton (a scarecrow knight), Ruffus (a dog like creature), and the director of her dreams. Together they will travel throughout the dream world!

Character Breakdowns
Milton- All ethnicities are accepted. Scarecrow knight character that speaks in a regal manner. He is a polite and sophisticated person when talks. He is the type of person to take on a heroic role in situations.

Evie Alexander- 12 year old female voice, possibility of an accent but not mandatory. All ethnicities are accepted. She is the main character of the whole animatic where she is caught in a dream. This is where she encounters the other characters that are actors in her dream. She is confused about where exactly she is and what is going on.

Carl- He has 2 different voices the first one is a deep raspy voice that is used when he is on set. The second one is a nerd voice that’s something like Steve Urkel. All ethnicities accepted. He is a frog monster that can walk on 2 legs when he isn’t on the set of Evie’s dream. He’s the type of person that if it’s not his job, he doesn’t want to do it.

Director- They have a loud voice that can be intimidating. All ethnicities accepted. They are an impatient, intimidating, and easily agitated person. He’s basically a stereotypical director.

Ruffus- a confused scared sounding voice like the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz. All ethnicities accepted. He is a dog like creature that seems to question everything and be a skittish. He seems to be the most confused out of everyone in the animatic.

Auditions will be held on May 29th, 2015 at The Art Institute of Tampa (4401 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614).
