The film is 287G Black Latina. It is a film inspired by true events:
A young Dominican girl moves to the US with her brothers and grandparents to have a better life with their mother whom has already been here gaining her education and trying to get permanent residency for her parents and children. She is bullied in school because she is made to feel as though she is not black enough to be black and not good enough to be Latina. She graduates high school as well as law school and becomes one of Atlanta's most elite attorney. She battles the case and wins. She battles with self identity in the whole make up of the film except in the end.
