Description/Notes
The Gift (The Christmas Musical) is an original stage play, written by Vickie L. Evans. It is about a Bishop who is invited to speak at a Christmas revival. Upon arriving early in town, he is mugged by some local thugs. Members of the congregation who invited him, but had never seen him, rejected his cries for help. However, the homeless man, a bag lady, and some runaway kids...feed him, minister to his needs, and offer him a sleeping bag for the night. Some "gifts" come in unexpected packages. This is a festive play with Christmas carols, original songs written by the playwright, and a benevolence message that will warm your heart for the Christmas season of love and giving. It highlights the "true meaning" of Christmas.
