Cyrus has never been one of the popular kids in school. His timid personal and obsession with historical and fictional stories creates a divide between his interests and those of his fellow peers. By indulging in the fictional worlds of his stories, he satisfies his creativity and curiosity, but he doesn’t prevent himself from being exposed to impactful material. Cyrus’ childish fault is not being able to acknowledge that the monsters in his stories are fake. This leads to fears of the dark and uneasiness when sleeping. Cyrus adores his brother and is not reluctant to defending him.

This creature is a drakor, a species that is an unbalanced, tall and thin with a large round belly that sags between his legs. Missing their eyes, drakors depend on their large ears to sense their surroundings. Their ultra sensitive skin is extremely receptive to light and exposure to light can burn their flesh. For this reason drakors reside in the shadows of deep caves. Due to the fragile jaws, drakors preferred meals are the tender flesh of children, who they capture in the night.

Hardened from an unrewarding job and an inclination to drink and smoke, Henry is a stringent father with lack of empathy. Its his way or no way. His style of parenting contrasts with Joyce’s as he has zero tolerance for misbehavior or childishness. He does however freight from hitting his kids, as he resents his father from disciplining him in the way.

Jacob is the most outgoing in his family. His naive and witful personality gives him a youthful charisma. Growing up to be a hotrod jock, Jacob is not shy of having friends. However, no friend could ever replace his best bud in the whole world, his brother Cyrus. When all hell breaks lose, Cyrus is his go to guy.

Joyce is a loving mother and caretaker of the house. She works part time to aid in the house’s finances. She has a nuturing and understanding relationship with her children and tends to sway towards their comfort rather than pushing them to mature. Even if her husband Henry demands the children grow up to act their age, she still sees them as her babies and treats them as so.
