Jason is very reliable and caring. Before he died, he would always free his time to spend it with Samantha, even if he was often really tired because of work. Jason would always get Samantha different presents and make surprises for her to see her happy. However, the more Samantha was unavailable and spent time at work, forgetting their anniversary dates and even Jason’s birthday, the more annoyed and offended Jason felt. After his death, Samantha refuses to let him go, but all he wants is to leave at peace. He therefore just tries to make Samantha happy, hoping that eventually she will be able to forgive herself and let go.

Jessica is very openminded and supportive. She has been Samantha’s best friend for almost 10 years already. When she found out about Jason’s death, she was ready to help Samantha with anything she might need and supported her. However, because of how Samantha started to act and didn’t even want to open up to her best friend, Jessica felt really offended and was afraid that their friendship could end like that.

Because of that, Samantha and Jason spent less and less time with each other, but Samantha would still always try to persuade him that everything is alright and as soon as she gets completely settled with her job, everything will go back to normal. After Jason died, Samantha shut herself out from everyone and didn’t even want to interact with her best friend Jessica.
